Terms of Service

Last updated: August 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Viraam app (“Viraam”, “we”, “us”). By installing or using Viraam, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

The service

Viraam is a mindful app-blocker: it shows a brief, dismissible pause with a Bhagavad Gita verse when you open apps you’ve chosen to guard. Viraam is a supportive tool, not a guarantee — it may not pause every app in every situation, and it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Free tier & Viraam Pro

  • The free tier lets you guard one app.
  • Viraam Pro unlocks guarding unlimited apps, available as a monthly or yearly subscription.

Subscriptions, renewal & cancellation

  • Billing: Viraam Pro is sold through Google Play. The exact price and currency are shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by country.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
  • Cancel anytime: manage or cancel from Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or via Settings → Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the current period ends.
  • Refunds: handled under Google Play’s refund policy. Contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
  • No login: your subscription is tied to your Google Play account. Use “Restore purchases” after reinstalling or switching devices.

Your responsibilities

  • You’re responsible for your device, its settings, and the permissions you grant Viraam.
  • Don’t misuse the app: no reverse-engineering, no reselling access, no using it to harm others.

Intellectual property

The Viraam app, its name, design, and original content are owned by the developer. The Sanskrit verses and their English translation are in the public domain. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Viraam is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, lost time, or the behaviour of third-party apps or your device.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
